Pyromation Thermocouple Type J 12"

Pyromation J38U-012-SL-6HN31 is a GP04 Type J spring-loaded MgO thermocouple/thermowell assembly with general purpose connection heads are designed for use with various thermowell types. Type J thermocouples are suitable for vacuum, reducing, or inert atmospheres, oxidizing atmosphere with reduced life. Iron oxidizes rapidly above 1000 Deg F (538 Deg C), so only heavy gauge wire is recommended for high temperature applications. Bare elements should not be exposed to sulfurous atmospheres above 1000 Deg F (538 Deg C).

This is a type J simple thermocouple, ungrounded junction, has a sheath length of 12 inches and spring-loaded element fittings. It also has a aluminum screw-cover head, sheath diameter and material: 3/16" 316SS, and head mount fitting: 1/2" X 1/2" NPT hex nipple.
