Pyromation Thermocouple Type JJ 36"

Pyromation JJ48U-036-05A-6HN49 is a GP02 Type JJ fixed-sheath thermocouple assembly with a general-purpose connection head. Head mounting fittings are welded or brazed to the sheath for direct immersion into a process. Type JJ thermocouples are suitable for vacuum, reducing, or inert atmospheres, oxidizing atmosphere with reduced life. Iron oxidizes rapidly above 1000 Deg F (538 Deg C), so only heavy gauge wire is recommended for high temperature applications. Bare elements should not be exposed to sulfurous atmospheres above 1000 Deg F (538 Deg C).

This is a type JJ duplex thermocouple, ungrounded junction, has a sheath length of 36 inches and 1/8" NPT fittings. It also has a flip top aluminum head, sheath diameter and material: 1/4" 316SS, and head mount fitting: 1/2" X 1/2" NPT hex nipple.
