Plast-o-Matic

Founded on September 7, 1967, by Bruce DeLorenzo and Dan McCarthy, Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc. began with a vision to innovate corrosion-resistant process controls. The company’s initial products were machined in Bruce’s garage, reflecting their early dedication to quality and craftsmanship. By April 1969, Plast-O-Matic transitioned to full-time operations in a modest industrial building in Clifton, NJ. Following substantial growth through the 1970s, Bruce DeLorenzo took sole ownership in 1981, setting the stage for the company's remarkable expansion.

The 1980s and 1990s marked an era of rapid growth and innovation, with the company moving to a modern facility in Cedar Grove, NJ, in 1994. This new headquarters fostered a stronger team spirit and allowed for in-house injection molding. Despite the loss of founder Bruce DeLorenzo in 1999, his vision continued to guide Plast-O-Matic under the leadership of Chairman Judy DeLorenzo and second-generation President Tim DeLorenzo. The company embraced advancements such as solar power, lean manufacturing, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and automation, reflecting its enduring commitment to superior products and customer satisfaction. Today, Plast-O-Matic remains dedicated to its founding principles of excellence, innovation, and service.
