The Pietro Fiorentini F31051 DC-10-7-BV VL CAP 10 PSIG Governor 1/2" NPT with Filter Line Pressure Regulators Dual Cut (DC) Model comply with and are certified to CSA 6.22a-2005 and ANSI Z21.80a-2005 Class I and Class II for outlet pressures up to 1 PSIG and inlet pressures up to 10 PSIG applications.

The Governor 10 PSIG Dual Cut (DC) operates as a 2-stage regulator. The first regulator is the thermostat that regulates the pressure to 1.7 PSIG and should not be adjusted. The downstream regulator regulates the pressure to your required outlet pressure. If the worker regulator fails, the monitor regulator takes over at a safe pressure of 1.7 PSIG. This keeps the operating set point below the CSA required 2 PSIG limit.

The inlet pressure range is 3 PSIG to 10 PSIG. This regulator comes with a black outlet spring, with a pressure range of 6" w.c. to 14" w.c..

The 10 PSIG Governor Line Pressure Dual Cut (DC) Model Regulators range from 1/2" to 4" NPT sizes and are suitable for use with Natural Gas, LPG, and other non-corrosive, clean gas.

The CSA design Governor 10 PSIG DC Regulator is certified for 2, 5 and 10 PSIG inlet pressures. Inlet pressures above 2 PSIG require over pressure protection device. The Governor 10 PSIG DC design incorporates an integral vent limiter in the regulator. To ensure that installation of the Governor 10 PSIG DC regulator complies with CSA 6.22a-2005 and ANSI Z21.80a-2005, the vent cap, or external vent limiter (if installed), should be left in place and at no time should any restriction or plug be installed in the vent connection of the regulator. If venting is required, use a union at the vent connection and install a vent line to the atmosphere, in accordance with all local codes, standards and requirements.
