Dungs 217435 Single Solenoid Safety Shut-off Valve, MVD 507/6, 3/4" NPT, UL/CSA/FM, 24 Vac. The Dungs MVD/6 and MVDLE/6 electrically operated, normally closed, automatic shutoff valves for gas burning equipment. Application: The MVD/6 and MVDLE/6 are recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications that require one or two automatic shutoff valves in series. The MVD and MVDLE valves are suitable for natural gas, propane, butane, air and other inert gases. Aluminum body; Inlet and outlet side taps (1/4" NPT); Inlet gas strainer installed in the housing upstream valve (23 mesh screen); MVD – fast opening & closing (<1 s), MVDLE - slow opening 20s MAX @ 70F & fast closing (<1 s); both models feature a manually adjustable flow rate (<10 -100%); 100% duty cycle; Refer to Flow Curves for Body Selection. Code requirements vary. FM requires visual indication on 1" and larger safety valves. The visual indicator, (VI) 266949 and CPI 400 (266968) meet this requirement. These must be ordered separately.
