Keckley's industrial and commercial Cast Iron Y-Strainer, B Style are designed for a wide variety of applications where protection from foreign matter in a pipeline is required.
Designed castings and screens to provide a maximum total screen area allowing for low pressure loss. Keckley Y-strainers can be installed in a vertical downward flow or horizontal pipeline.
Pipeline y-strainers (wye strainers) offer a compact and economical means of straining debris from pipelines. Style B cast iron threaded strainers meet or exceed government specification WW-S-2739 (Supersedes MIL-S-16293).
