The Sensus Model 143-80-6 1-1/4" NPT with a 5/16" orifice; Low Pressure Cutoff, Internal Relief Valve (IRV); Standard Position 6-6 (105) is a general purpose gas pressure regulator used for natural gas, air, dry CO2, propane, butane, nitrogen, and other non-corrosive gases. The Sensus Model gas regulators can be used for gas services to homes, commercial establishments and small industries as well as burners, unit heaters, boilers, and other equipment.
Model 143-80-1 is a standard regulator, Model 143-80-2 includes an internal relief valve (IRV), Model 143-80-6 offers low pressure cut-off (LPCO) and Model 143-80-2HP is a High Pressure gas regulator. They have a variety of body sizes, loading springs, and orifices sizes, these regulators can provide the outlet pressure ranges and capacities to fit most applications for a 6" service diaphragm regulator.
The Sensus model 143-80 design provides the popular union nut connectional, not requiring bolts or screws to connect the body to the diaphragm assembly. This enables the gas regulators to be set in virtually any position for excellent field versatility. Simple, rugged, precise pressure control and outstanding performance.
Other Sensus orifice and spring sizes are available, and sold seperately. These regulators include inlet & outlet taps, 1/8" NPT. Input gas pressures are orifice size dependent, unless a fixed design. Output gas pressures are spring dependent. Ask us how we can help you to change your gas regulator orifice and spring. Sensus is a USG Brand, formerly known as Xylem, Rockwell, Equimeter and BTR.
Corrosion Protection: Cases dip primed chromate conversion coating, enamel topcoat. Available with an Internal Relief Valve set to relieve at approximately 7 - 10" w.c. above normal outlet pressure setting.
